One of my favorite parts of Christmas is seeing the creativity of all the cookies people bake! I literally sit on Pinterest just to see the different kinds people come up with.
Baking has always been something my family does to bring us together. My mother baked with me and my siblings, and now I include my girls as well!

These M&M bars are so easy and a crowd favorite. You can’t mess them up! I love how quick and easy they are to throw together before a holiday party or family gathering.

The key is to make sure your cookies are golden brown when you take them out. That’s how you’ll know the center is cooked entirely.

I hope you enjoy this recipe, and from our family to your, Merry Christmas!
Ingredients:
2 and 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 sticks butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 large eggs
2 cups chocolate chips
M&M candies for top
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. In a small bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. In a large bowl, cream together butter, eggs, sugars, and vanilla. Slowly incorporate dry ingredients into the large bowl with a hand mixer. Stir in chocolate chips.
Top with candy in a 9×13 baking dish, and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy!
